What’s New?
The Honda Accord gains multiple updates for 2016. Revisions include advanced suspension tuning, updated exterior styling (including the modern LED taillights for all models), latest interior trim and, on EX models and above, a seven-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. All sedans except the base LX model currently receives a 60/40-split rear seat, as the modern Honda Sensing package of driver help features is also available on all trim levels.
Exterior Features
For 2016, the Accord goes on in both two-door coupe and four-door sedan body styles, and each model gets styling updates to refresh its appearance. Also, the Accord Coupe is available in a fresh top-of-the-line level of touring trim. Does the latest Accord sedan look an unpleasant lot like an Acura, specifically in Touring trim along with the LED headlight design? Maybe. The Acura-design grille is the boldest element of the revised, and more aerodynamic front-styling of Accord. Many trim levels also include modern LED fog lights and all the 2016 Accords feature a modified front bumper design and a fresh, and reshaped aluminum hood. Around back, the Accord gets brand new crisper rear bumper and the LED taillights.

Interior Features
Inside, the 2016 Accord features enhanced seat fabrics, modern trim panel treatments, and the updated color schemes. Many trim levels enjoy extended standard equipment lists for the brand new model year, and Honda installs a modern 60/40 split-folding rear seat for almost all Accord sedans, assisting in advancing the car’s utility.
Technology
Every 2016 Accord excluding the LX-S and LX versions include a fresh dual-screen infotainment system design. Up top is the 7.7-inch screen used for checking the LaneWatch image, the reversing camera image, and a navigation system map. Also, it displays parking-sensor warnings, handles incoming text and calls messages, and offers access to multiple information menus. The lower screen is very sensitive, and it appears and works just like a tablet, computer or smartphone, supporting swipe, tap, and pinch gesture control.
Engine/ Fuel Efficiency
All 2016 Accords are front-wheel drive, and the majority are fitted with the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. This engine is now rated at 185 HP and 181 pound-feet of torque. The level of Sport trim less-restrictive dual exhaust enhances output to 189 HP and 182 lb-ft of torque.

Safety
Honda expects advanced crash-test ratings for the 2016 Accord, mainly due to structural enhancements to the underlying architecture of the car. In addition, the firm is debuting a fresh Honda Sensing option package containing essential new safety technologies, and is making it readily available on all trim levels, and effectively democratizing safety.
